We Believe...

We believe first and foremost in The Holy Trinity; God The Creator, God The Christ and God The Holy Spirit.  We do not however refer to ourselves as Christians.  The word "Christian" has been hijacked by the White Christian Nationalist movement to now mean a form of religion that I do not recognize.  

We are instead, Followers of Christ...the Christ who said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" (Matthew 22:37-39).

Who is our neighbor?  All people are God's creations and as such, all are our neighbors.  Black/White/Brown/Red/Yellow...Muslim/Jew/Christian/Buddhist/Hindu...Straight/Lesbian/Gay/Bi-Sexual/Trans Gendered...Citizen/Non-Citizen/Refugee/Immigrant...all are children of God.
